Fortress Merge Achievements and Trophies
Twenty-three Steam/Xbox unlocks, a PlayStation Platinum, and how to farm them without wrecking a board.
The September 2026 console and PC launch added a checklist on top of the merge loop. Steam and Xbox list 23 achievements (1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox). PlayStation lists 24 trophies including Platinum; launch coverage said the plat should not require a paid pack. None of these need a gift code. They need a village, a skill tree, and a few messy runs you would not take into Boss Fight.
This page is the list plus a farm order. Names match the public Xbox/Steam set. If a localised client renames a trophy, trust the in-game text.
Skill tree (play as normal)
- First Steps — unlock 10 skills in the Skill Tree menu.
- Skillfull — unlock 30.
- Mad Skills — unlock 50.
These count lobby tree nodes, not the in-fight draft. Follow skill priority so the nodes you buy actually match the board. You will trip First Steps without trying.
Units, buildings, castle
- Common Sense — upgrade any common unit to level 10.
- Once In A Blue Moon — any rare unit to level 7.
- Mythical… Almost — any epic unit to level 5.
- Brick By Brick — any common building to level 10.
- King Of The Hill — upgrade the castle to level 3.
Mobile and console both have permanent upgrade tracks outside the fight. Dump cards into one common unit and one common building instead of sprinkling. Castle rank is a village-style node; Hero Of The Village sits next to it.
Heroes and gear
- Stylist — fully equip any hero.
- Trendsetter — equip any set of gear.
- Behind The Hero — unlock a new hero.
- A Fine Addition To My Collection — complete any set.
Read heroes and gear first. Blueprints do not undo. Fill one set, fuse it, take Trendsetter and Stylist on the same evening.
In-run challenges (retry is free)
- Merge Master — merge a building into a one-red-star (high-tier) building in one game.
- More For Me — reroll buildings 10 times in one game.
- I Speak For The Trees — destroy all trees in one game.
- Varied — finish one game using only one type of building.
- Collector — collect 12 one-star buildings.
- Builder — collect 12 three-star buildings.
- Try It! — use 15 buildings at least once.
Do Varied on an easy early map with a wall-plus-one-camp plan, not on a boss stage. More For Me wants a wide board and a banner so rerolls stay cheap — see gold. I Speak For The Trees is a gold sink; run it when you already know the placement path. Merge Master is just “stop being afraid to merge walls.”
Meta unlocks
- X Marks The Spot — open 30 chests.
- Challenge Mode! — start any challenge.
- They’re In The Woods — finish Infested Forest (a named map).
- Hero Of The Village — unlock the village.
Open challenge modes once and Challenge Mode! is done. Chests come from campaign and events; do not buy panic packs for the count. Infested Forest is a layout with extra trees — same rules as any forest map: pay for space, then stall.
PlayStation extra
The 24th trophy is the Platinum that wraps the set. Paid add-ons such as the Steam Claire pack are cosmetics and gems, not a trophy gate, according to launch write-ups. If a future patch adds a paid trophy, this page will say so. Until then, treat DLC as optional.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many achievements does Fortress Merge have?
23 on Steam and Xbox. PlayStation lists 24 including Platinum.
Do I need DLC for the Platinum?
Launch coverage said no. Optional packs are convenience, not a trophy wall.
Is Varied hard?
Only if you try it on a late map. Use one building family plus walls on an early stage.
