Fortress Merge Updates

Console launch notes, challenge playlists, and what changed after the mobile year.

Updates Hub

Fortress Merge spent a year as a mobile merge defense, then landed on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation on 4 September 2026 as a free-to-play QubicGames release. This hub splits that story so you do not mix a 2025 iOS patch with a controller HUD.

If you need tactics rather than dates, leave this hub and open guides. If you need a shop string, open codes and accept the honest “none verified” until a real drop lands.

What “updated” means on this wiki

We date pages from content fingerprints, not from a random clock. When QubicGames ships a patch that adds a redeem box, a fourth Steam hero, or a new building family, the matching article changes and the stamp moves. A silent re-deploy does not rewrite history.

Mobile patch notes have already mentioned unit upgrades, permanent passives, Boss Mode, Mythical rarity, Thunder Totem, Token Bank, Training Camp, and new heroes. Steam’s store page at launch still sells the core loop: merge buildings, three heroes, three challenge modes, varied battlefields. Assume the PC/console build is the store-page set unless you see the extra name in your shop.

Where to read official notes

  • Steam news hub for app 4636030.
  • Xbox store and PlayStation store product pages.
  • QubicGames socials (@QubicGames).
  • In-game shop banners.

We do not mirror every mobile hotfix. We do translate the ones that change how you play: new modes, new buildings, save-system changes. Account linking on mobile is a bind, not a gift code — see how to redeem.

Mobile year versus console week

The mobile build collected a year of events: birthday logins, seasonal heroes, a save-system experiment that converted coins into shards, and extra buildings. That history is useful context. It is not a promise that your Xbox shop will show a Thunder Totem on day one. When this wiki mentions a mobile-only name, it is labelled. When we describe the September 2026 PC and console client, we stick to the Steam feature list: merge, three heroes, three challenge modes, varied maps.

If a friend quotes a 2025 iOS patch at you, check which client you are holding before you rearrange the board.

New players should still start at getting started. Returning mobile players who just bought a console copy should read controls and the hero hub so they do not hunt a village button that moved.
